TAHOE DENTIST is Hiring a Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) Near South Lake Tahoe, CA
Responsibilities:
- Assist the dentist during dental procedures
- Coronal Polish Certificate
- Prepare and sterilize dental instruments and equipment
- Take and develop dental x-rays
- Provide patient education on oral hygiene and post-operative care
- Perform infection control procedures to maintain a clean and safe environment
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical documentation
- Conduct patient assessments, including taking vital signs and recording medical history
- Assist with dental lab work, including pouring and trimming models
- Schedule patient appointments and manage patient records using Ortho WAVE
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Completion of an accredited dental assisting program
- Current certification in dental assisting (CDA) or (RDA)
- Knowledge of infection control protocols and procedures
- Familiarity with medical terminology and dental coding systems
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
